Robert Jones
The Swamp Fox

Our topic tonight will be on premier guerilla fighter The Swamp Fox, or Francis Marion.  For a period in South Carolina after the Continental Army surrendered in Charleston, Marion was one of the few fighting forces left in South Carolina.  We'll also take a look at the hero of Cowpens, Daniel Morgan.

Robert C. Jones served as President of the Kennesaw Historical Society for many years, and also served as a member of the executive board of the Kennesaw Museum Foundation. The Foundation helped fund the 50,000 square foot Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History.

Robert has written 70+ books on various historical topics, including the Civil War, Revolutionary War, World War I & II, the War of 1812 and ghost towns.
